One of rock's great lost live recordings — Blind Faith captured in concert in Gothenburg, Sweden in 1969, released for the first time in 2021 by Code 7 / Ava Edition as a CD with accompanying book. The supergroup — Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker, Steve Winwood, and Ric Grech — existed for barely a year, making every surviving live document precious.
The Gothenburg show captures the band at their exploratory best, stretching out across nine tracks that showcase the extraordinary chemistry between Clapton's guitar, Winwood's voice and keys, and Baker's drumming. Highlights include an extended Do What You Like, the timeless Can't Find My Way Home, a powerful Presence of the Lord, and a rare live outing of Sleeping in the Ground. The inclusion of a Rolling Stones cover (Under My Thumb) adds a further point of interest to an already remarkable set.
